About Me

My background is in software engineering, software architecture, lightweight software development methodologies, and technical leadership of high performing software teams. While I still love working in software and technology, I think of myself primarily as a technical leader who helps the business solve customer problems, using technology only when necessary. I’ve learned in my 3 decades of work that people problems are far more challenging than technical problems, and that a people-first approach to problems will lead to far better business outcomes than a tech-first approach.
